Update on Ryker

From Ryker's new owner:

Hope you had a great holiday and are staying warm with this recent cold weather. We've been wanting to drop you a few pics of Jeffrey, Now Ryker. He's a great pup and doing well. We just took him in for his last shots and he has already gained 10 lbs in one month! We'll need a bigger house at this pace....lol. He's just started going out with the dog walker this week and is having a great time. He and Bailey are actually starting to play in the back yard. We have also enrolled him in puppy obedience starting next week. He's a very smart dog and already knows the basics.

Aww...what a cutie. I remember the picture you took of this guy and his brother when they were both hugging the ground, too scared to get up. Good to know he's come so far & found a good home. Do you know if the other siblings were adopted as well?

Look at the size of him.
Great update.
Love it when the new family sends pictures as part of the update.
Much appreciated.

I remember the hugging-the-ground shot too. What a gorgeous dog! Good for him. The new name suits him, too. I hope the rest of the litter and mom were just as lucky.

Seriously, this just proves that it's never the animal that's the problem. Pets are products of their environment. These photos demonstrate what a little TLC and commitment from a loving owner can do for an animal. The more dedicated you are to your pet, the more they will give back in return. Nothing is more precious to me, than the love for and from my pets.
