Friday review, Jan. 1

A day late with putting up the dog photos this week and this wee one has already been adopted. We're thinking he's a Pekinese something or other but he's your basic lap warmer regardless of breed.

This ten year old with the bad hair day acts like he's a happy two year old and is still currently listed as "lost" but it's unlikely the owners will come by for him so he'll probably be up for adoption soon.

For adoption information on these and other dogs (and cats and other animals), please visit Toronto Animal Services.

Sigh. The old guy looks like a real snugglebug. Hope someone adopts him real soon, and gives him as much love as he has to give them...

The little mop-top having the bad hair day is cute. Does ageism affect small dogs in shelters as much as it does larger ones? It seems to be universal with cats, but I wonder if smaller dogs have a simpler time being adopted out, despite age?

borderjack, I think age affects the adoptability of all dogs. Some of these little guys live longer than other breeds so that's one thing they might have on their side.

Marcie, I'm kinda impressed by the guy going from being a gang member/felon/convict to the voice of Alvin of Alvin and the Chipmunks.
